His education was completed at La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata, followed by St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, laying a strong foundation for his multifaceted professional journey. Over the years, he has held prominent positions in several esteemed organisations. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President of the Federation of Indian Plywood & Panel Industry and is the former President of the Indian Agro & Recycled Paper Mills Association, where he championed sustainability and industry growth.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Chitlangia is a firm believer in education and community development. He is a Trustee-Promoter of The Heritage School, Kolkata, underscoring his commitment to nurturing future generations.

A passionate golfer, Mr. Chitlangia sees the sport as a discipline that reflects character, patience, and integrity. At the age of 50, he served as the President of the Indian Golf Union, actively promoting the game and its values across the country. Golf remains an integral part of his life, offering him both challenge and camaraderie. He is also a devoted connoisseur of fine cuisine, cherishing the cultural richness and shared experiences that food brings to life.
